CSE

Dr.V.Sudharshan is a highly accomplished academician with an extensive background in the field of computer science and engineering. With a total teaching experience spanning more than two decades, he has established himself as a respected educator in the academic community of SCIT.

Currently serving as the Head of the Department (HOD) of the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Department at Sri Chaitanya Institute of Technology and Research(SCIT),Khammam, He plays a pivotal role in shaping the educational and research endeavours of the Department.

His journey in academia began in the early 2000s when he assumed the position of Assistant Professor and later, the Head of Department, at KMPGC from 2001 to 2008, located in Khammam.Subsequently, he joined KITS as an Assistant Professor and Head of the Department from 2009 to till date.

His contributions to SCITR(Formerly KITS) include serving as the Online Examination coordinator, Microsoft Innovation Centre IQAC Coordinator for NAAC.  

 An achievement that further underscores his expertise is his role as an Oracle Academy Official Instructor since May 2016. He has been certified by Oracle Academy to teach Database Management Systems (DBMS) and Java programming. He has successfully trained over 500 students in these areas, leveraging his expertise and the resources provided by Oracle Academy.

 Dr. V.Sudharshan’s contributions to academia have garnered recognition, particularly his accolade from TASK (Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge) for outstanding training in Java Programming, further affirming his impact on students' skill development and readiness for the tech industry. As an addition to his academic excellence, he has numerous publications in various National and International Conferences and has organized several Refresher Programs, FDPs and Workshops and is the Session Chair for several National and International Conferences.

Experience:

• Presently working as HoD & Assoc Professor in the Department of CSE at Khammam Institute of Technology & Science, Khammam since 2009 to till date.
• Worked as HOD & Assistant Professor, in the Department of CS at Kavitha Memorial Degree & PG College, Khammam from  2003 to  2008.

• Worked as Assistant Professor, in the Department of CS at Kavitha Memorial Degree & PG College, Khammam from  2001 to  2008.

Educational Qualifications :

• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D-CSE) from J.N.T.U.H in the month of January 2021 for the research work on “SECURE AND PRACTICAL COMPUTATION OUTSOURCING TECHNIQUES IN CLOUD COMPUTING” under the guidance of  Dr.N.Satyanarayana, Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering, Professor, TKR Engineering & Technology, Hyderabad.
• M.Tech (IT) from AIADU in the year of 2005 Secured First Class with Distinction, Allahabad.  
• M.Tech (CSE), Secured First Class with Distinction from  JNTUH, in the year of 2010.
• Ratified by Kakatiya University on 01-02-2002.
• Ratified by JNTUH HYDERABAD on 01-02-2014 & 07-03-2016.

• I have organized different workshops on new and innovative trends,   start-up for students & faculty.  
• Incharge for NAAC,  works in KITS Engineering College, Khammam.
• Incharge for ISO, AICTE & JNTUH inspection works in KITS Engineering College, Khammam.
• Incharge for M.Tech course, Mini & Major Projects in KITS Engineering College, Khammam .
• Guided  60  B.Tech & 24 M.Tech projects from 2012-2021.
• Organised National Techno Fests KITS-EKATRA from 2012 to 2019 (PPT, Poster Presentation and Technical Quiz etc).
