Payment Flow

Users can make online payments for:

• Admission fees
• Tuition fees
• Examination fees
• Hostel fees
• Transport fees
• Miscellaneous fees

Payments are initiated through the 'Online Payment' section on scitr.edu.in.

Before initiating payment, the user must provide:

• Student Name
• Registration/Roll/Admission Number
• Course/Department
• Mobile Number
• Email ID
• Fee Category/Type

This information is required to verify and match the payment with institutional records.

Once details are submitted:

• Users are redirected to an authorized Payment Gateway.
• The gateway supports multiple secure payment options, including:

• Debit/Credit Cards
• Net Banking
• UPI
• Wallets
• QR-based payments (if supported)

All transactions are processed through secure SSL encryption.

After completing the transaction:

• The user is redirected back to scitr.edu.in.
• A payment confirmation message is displayed on the screen.
• A digital receipt is generated, which can be saved or printed.
• An email/SMS confirmation may also be sent.

If the transaction fails:

• The user will receive a failure notification on the website.
• No amount is deducted in case of failure.
• If the amount is deducted due to network issues, it will be automatically refunded by the payment gateway within 7–10 working days.

SCIT is not responsible for delays caused by bank/payment gateway systems.

Successful payments are automatically updated in the college system. If records are not updated due to technical issues, the user may submit:

• Payment proof
• Transaction ID
• Date & time of transaction

to the Accounts Department for manual verification.

All online payments comply with:

• RBI guidelines
• PCI-DSS security standards
• Bank-level encryption protocols

SCIT does not store card or banking details.
